Kimo Kippen is the chief learning officer at Hilton Worldwide and is responsible for strategic oversight of learning and development.
Prior to joining Hilton Worldwide, he was a principal at Strategic Partners, responsible for the development of key accounts and management of the 12 partner firms for the organization. Previously, Kippen was responsible for the Center of Excellence for Learning at Marriott International.
Kippen holds an M.S. in career and human resource development from Rochester Institute of Technology, a B.S. from the University of Hawaii, and is a graduate of the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland's post-graduate program. He served as the chairman of the board of the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) in 2007 and as a member of the ASTD Public Policy Council. He led ASTD’s Metro Washington, D.C., chapter, serving as president and past president.
Kippen serves on the board of directors of the Providence Hospital Foundation of Washington, D.C. He is an adjunct professor at Catholic University.
