Alexis is a Partner and Org Design Practice Lead for August Public Inc. She is an expert in learning, change management, and the future of work. She has worked with some of the world's most admired companies to design and implement new ways of working that are more agile, equitable, and participatory. Before August, Alexis was the Org Design Lead at Zappos.com and a Design Lead at IDEO. She is also a former high school science teacher and policymaker. Her book, The New School Rules: 6 Vital Practices for Thriving and Responsive Schools, was published by Corwin Press in 2018. Alexis is a mom to two little girls and is a proud Las Vegan.
