Therese Provencher is the talent and culture learning director for National Lutheran Communities & Services (NLCS), where she oversees the education and learning opportunities for employees within NLCS’s retirement communities and home health and home care agencies. Therese began her career as a registered dietitian working in the healthcare environment, and through her own desire for lifelong learning, she transitioned from teaching residents and patients about nutrition to teaching employees how to be successful in caring for those they serve. Therese completed a master’s degree in organizational leadership and enjoyed it so much she would do it all over again! Seeing the spark in an employee’s eye when they make the connection between something they have learned and how they can apply it to their life (personal or professional) is what drives Therese to stay in the field of learning and development.
