Amy is the executive director of organizational effectiveness for Cone Health in Greensboro, North Carolina. In her role, she leads a team that oversees physician leadership as well as leadership development, performance consulting, and coaching for both Cone administrative and physician leaders. Additionally, she provides executive coaching and strategic partnership to Cone Health's physician leaders and senior leaders.
Amy has worked for a number of organizations spanning various industries in learning and development and organizational effectiveness (OE) roles. Amy worked for several years as senior faculty at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), where she designed and delivered customized leadership programs for clients in many different industries. While at CCL, she was also responsible for facilitating CCL's open enrollment programs, providing integrated feedback coaching to program participants, and serving as lead faculty and mentor coach for a large custom coaching engagement. In late 2012, Amy left CCL and returned to the healthcare industry in an OE leadership capacity. Past employers include Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Starbucks Coffee Company (company headquarters), Corbis (a privately owned Bill Gates company), and Columbia Hospitality. Amy has an MA in organizational management from the University of Phoenix and a BA in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
