Allison Patterson, CPTD, leads Baker Tilly’s Industry Learning, designing learning programs that develop industry acumen across service lines. Allison has 20+ years of operations leadership, systems, and training experience. Having earned a BS in Foodservice Management from Johnson & Wales University, Allison developed hospitality training programs. She was a Certified Instructor and Proctor for the National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe™ program and was an Adjunct Professor/program coordinator for an award-winning Culinary Arts workforce development program at Virginia Peninsula Community College. Allison later developed a passion for digital transformation, running her consultancy for several years that helped smaller companies implement and integrate software systems, optimizing their end-to-end business processes and designing the training and change management with such initiatives. She’s implemented multiple learning management systems and has extensive experience in digital design, curriculum strategy, and project management.
