Denise Hicken, M.Ed., CPLP, is a Senior Learning Consultant for Floyd Health System in Rome, Georgia. Denise’s primary focus is leadership development, with a special emphasis on culture enhancement. A program she leads, Culture Conversations, was nominated as one of the top people-related initiatives for the Floyd Health System in 2018. She develops online learning for clinical and non-clinical divisions, and serves as administrator for the online learning system.

Prior to joining Floyd, Denise worked as a contract instructional designer for AT&T in Atlanta. While living in Missouri, she directed the professional development program for a large bank. In this position, she developed a successful mystery shopping program based upon the bank’s standards of service which Denise helped write and hardware. Way back in the day, she was a television news executive producer. Denise holds a M.Ed. from the University of Missouri, a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri, along with the CPLP credential. Denise is a certified DDI facilitator and is certified to facilitate Crucial Conversations and Crucial Accountability.
