What is really involved in how individuals and organization systems change? This webinar will outline key aspects of organizational change that need to be planned and managed effectively, as well as common misconceptions that get many into trouble. It will also include some exploration of recent changes in the organizational world that will affect how change is conceived and executed.

David Jamieson

David Jamieson is a well-known organization development (OD) scholar and practitioner. He is co-author of The Facilitator’s Fieldbook and Consultations for Organization Change, and author of numerous articles in practitioner journals. David presents at conferences nationwide and consults a variety of public, private, and nonprofit organizations. He has also held leadership positions in ATD and the Academy of Management.

David is currently the director of the doctoral program in organization development at the University of St. Thomas, and an adjunct professor at American University (AU). He directs AU’s Practicum Project course, which he also designed, and leads a team of practicum advisers who mentor students. The process and standards he has set for the practicum make it one of the most powerful learning experiences in AU’s OD master’s degree program.
