While women make up roughly half of the world’s workforce, the vast majority of senior leaders across industry sectors are male. To have a successful career, women need to anticipate, navigate, and learn from the challenges they encounter. In fact, a recent study by McKinsey found that resilience was one of the most important attributes for women to succeed in leadership positions.

Lynn Schmidt and Kevin Nourse will introduce the Intentional Resiliency framework, which they developed from extensive research and interviews. The framework consists of six strategies that help women to thrive in the face of career challenges. While the framework is focused on women, many of the strategies can be applied across genders. These strategies can be used with or without a coach.

The presenters will also provide a brief overview of the five International Coach Federation competencies that are critical when coaching to build resiliency. By using these competencies and Intentional Resiliency, you can create a positive trajectory for your career, and help others to have a career defined by growth, success, and satisfaction.

After the webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Define key concepts related to career derailment, resiliency, and thriving.
  • Describe the six Intentional Resiliency strategies.
  • Learn to apply two of the strategies to their career challenges.
