Tammy Neale

Chief Learning Officer, Virginia Housing Development Authority

Tammy Neale has a breadth of experience in organization development and learning, succession management, leadership development, and employee engagement. She is the chief learning officer and managing director of organizational development and learning for the Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA). As part of the executive leadership team, she has been instrumental in helping VHDA attract, retain, and grow leaders. After going through her own authentic leadership journey, she now enjoys coaching others on how to accomplish organizational, professional, and personal goals. Tammy is a graduate of the University of Richmond and is certified in Emotional Intelligence and Myers Briggs, which she incorporates into her work with others. She is also a Results Trained Coach through the NeuroLeadership Institute, enabling her to bring a brain-science aspect to coaching. After several years of managing learning programs, she earned the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance credential in the spring of 2016 and is currently pursuing an accredited coaching certification with the International Coach Federation. Tammy’s passion is helping people be their best self. She believes that employees who have a strong sense of self awareness and management of themselves can help organizations reach their fullest potential.


Kyle Perry
Kyle Perry

Customer Education Specialist, Farm Credit Services of America

Kyle Perry is a talent development professional focused on helping organizations and people achieve measurable success through learning solutions. He is the customer education specialist at Farm Credit Services of American and Frontier Farm Credit. He is responsible for the customer education strategy and initiatives focused on financial and business acumen for the Associations’ over 50,000 customer-owners.

Kyle has a master’s degree in educational psychology and a bachelor’s degree in agricultural education, both from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He also holds the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance credential from the Association for Talent Development. Kyle is a past board member of the Metro DC Chapter of the Association for Talent Development, serving as the director of communities of practice.

L&D Lead, Macmillan Learning

Amy Shilliday, CPLP, is a training and development professional for Macmillan Learning. She has been practicing in the field for nearly 18 years, is a member of her local chapter and ATD National, and recently attained the CPLP designation. In her spare time, Amy enjoys activities that allow her to stop talking, such as reading, cooking, and touring local wineries. 


Holly Batts
Holly Batts

Associate Director, ATD

Holly Batts is associate director of credentialing at ATD, with more than 15 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector. Her background in developing and maintaining certification programs includes mid- to high-stakes assessments, extensive work with organizing SMEs, and a thorough understanding of the certification process. Holly has an MS in organizational leadership, as well as the Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Association Executive (CAE) certifications.
