Kari is a former classroom public school teacher who taught Title I middle school math for five years. Through networking, Kari was able to see how her teaching skills could transfer outside of the classroom. She landed a position as an instructional designer where she helped create online courses for various universities. In 2016, she started her own company, Instructional Design Studio LLC where she conducts consulting and contract instructional design work. She also just started her Ph.D. at Florida State University in Instructional Systems and Learning Technologies. Kari is passionate about helping current classroom teachers who feel stuck to see that they as well may have other options if they want to leave the classroom. Visit her blog.
