Host: Association for Talent Development
By: Amanda Smith, COP Manager, ATD

Talent development professionals want to create better learning experiences, but they don't want to wade through a sea of information or waste time on topics that don't directly affect them today. ATD’s Core 4 conference focuses on the most crucial, practical, and fundamental topics needed to effectively develop learners.

You will learn about:
• the target audience for this conference
• primary content areas covered
• how to plan your experience and what to expect.

COP Manager, ATD

I’ve spent the last 17 years in the nonprofit sector, designing and marketing talent development programs for the adult learner to include, e-learning, virtual classroom, agile methods and traditional classroom. I’ve worked across multiple industries, including health care, commercial real-estate, foodservice, and broadcast media. My specialties include instructional design, facilitation, content development, and public relations.

My career path has been challenging, rewarding, and energizing to say the least. I’ve had the opportunity to serve a few wonderful companies along my way: The Association for Talent Development (ATD), The American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP), International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA),Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF).
