Adam Lewis

Adam Lewis is the Head of Skills Transformation, EMEA at Coursera, where he helps companies to define the skills they need for the future and design curriculums to drive their digital learning. Before Coursera Adam was a management consultant at Moorhouse, helping clients to deliver transformational change. He also designed the firm's first consulting 'Academy'. When he gets the chance, Adam teaches his own course in public speaking.


Vinod  Bakthavachalam
Vinod Bakthavachalam

Senior Data Scientist, Coursera

Vinod Bakthavachalam is a senior data scientist working with the content strategy and enterprise teams. His work has recently focused on developing ways to measure the learning outcomes from taking Coursera classes, especially in the context of company-sponsored training. Prior to working at Coursera, he worked in quantitative finance. He holds triple bachelor’s degrees in economics, statistics, and molecular and cellular biology from University of California, Berkeley, and a master’s degree in statistics from Stanford.


Alison Lands
Alison Lands

Head of Skills Transformation, North America, Coursera

Alison Lands is a leader in Coursera’s global skills transformation practice, partnering with Fortune 500 employers; national, state, and local governments; and university systems to develop custom learning programs that prepare people, companies, and regions for the future of work. With more than 20 years of experience in workforce and economic development, Lands joined Coursera from senior leadership roles with Deloitte Consulting, the BCG Centre for Public Impact, New York State Economic Development Council, and a career in municipal government at the City of San Antonio, Texas, where she led the design and implementation of the Alamo Academies, a nationally recognized workforce development model providing more than 1,000 youth with tuition-free career pathways into critical-demand STEM occupations.

Lands is a graduate of the London School of Economics as well as Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. A certified economic developer (CEcD), she is also an active member of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) and stays engaged on policy and advocacy issues, particularly those related to upskilling and reskilling the U.S. workforce as a strategy to drive innovation and economic growth.
