In her current role as director, talent management for Plains All American, a Fortune 150 oil and natural gas company, Suzanne Frawley is building the talent strategy, which includes talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development from high-potential to frontline leader. Suzanne’s prior experience includes serving as director, learning for Phillips 66, a Fortune 50 oil and natural gas company, where she created the learning strategy and led her team in building and enhancing the leadership and professional skills across the organization. Prior to working at Phillips 66, Suzanne led the organizational development team at Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, where she created and led leadership development and learning strategy and led and drove initiatives on talent management, change management, and organizational effectiveness. Suzanne also has held positions as HR business partner and manager, learning and development for Boehringer Ingelheim as well as a variety of field and corporate positions in learning and development, sales and technical training, and sales consulting.

Rebecca Jones, chief people officer, oversees the people and culture strategy and function at European Wax Center (EWC) with the purposes of elevating the EWC guest and associate experience and driving profitable company growth. She supports talent at the corporate level and within the (franchised) network of more than 10,000-plus associates through leadership of the organization’s talent management function and the franchise support group. She’s also responsible for the development and execution of the organization’s human capital strategy. Rebecca contributes to employee engagement and high performance with relevant, impactful, and growth-orientated acquisition, learning, and talent development solutions.
Rebecca's experience prior to EWC includes talent leadership roles with an international jewelry brand, a global travel retail organization under the LVMH umbrella in the United States, as well as training, development, and communication roles in Australia and Europe. Originally from Australia and, Rebecca has called Miami, Florida, home for the last 15 years.

James (Jim) Woolsey is president of Defense Acquisition University (DAU). In that role, he is responsible for delivery of learning products through the DAU regions, the Defense Systems Management College and the College of Contract Management; curriculum development; online learning programs; learning technology; and library services for a major Department of Defense corporate university. DAU, strategically located within five geographical regions across the country and servicing a global workforce, provides practitioner training, career management, and services to enable the acquisition, technology, and logistics community to make smart business decisions and deliver timely and affordable capabilities to the Warfighter. Jim has a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, a master’s in business administration from George Mason University and was a fellow in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Seminar XXI on international relations. Under his leadership, DAU has been recognized in the public and private sectors as one of the best corporate universities in the world. In 2016, he was honored as the leader of the year by his learning and development peers, and for his distinguished service by the Department of Defense. In 2017, DAU was nationally recognized as the organization of the year in a worldwide benchmarking event that included many of the world’s best-known private-sector firms.

John Coné has worked in talent development for more than 40 years. During that time, he’s served as a chief learning officer (CLO), a vice president of HR, on the boards of nonprofit and for-profit learning companies and organizations, including ATD, and as a consultant and advisor to CLOs at more than a dozen major companies and to the federal government. He writes and speaks on issues of talent development, with emphasis on strategy, the implications of technology, and the future of learning. He chairs the chief learning and talent officers board for the Institute for Corporate Productivity. He serves as catalyst of Chief Talent Development Officer (CTDO) Next, and in this role he facilitates a think tank approach to the network’s applied thought leadership.
