Maureen Orey brings a unique understanding of diversity, inclusion, relationships, and resilience. Her first book focused on workplace diversity, and her other books have focused on communication skills and resilience. She is the author of TD at Work’s “Designing Section 508 Compliant Learning” (ATD Press) and has spoken about designing inclusive and accessible learning programs at numerous international conferences.
Orey holds a doctorate in organizational leadership and has worked extensively developing more than 15,000 leaders in volunteer organizations and corporate clients around the world. Her clients include Boeing, Microsoft, Northrop Grumman, Sony, and Scripps Health. She is passionate about helping organizations and leaders become more resilient by facilitating engaging conversations across multiple generations, cultures, and personalities. Her latest book, A Year of Resilience, was released on February 1, 2020. She is the founder and chief executive officer of the Workplace Learning & Performance Group, which last year celebrated 10 years in business.
