Cynthia Burnham is a Wall Street drop out, brain hobbyist, and the author of The Charisma Edge: A How-To Guide for Turning On Your Leadership Power. She is also an executive coach and leadership consultant who has been designated a member of the Marshall Goldsmith MG100 Coaches, and an Association of Corporate Executive Coaches Certified Master Coach.
Called “life-altering” by clients, she speaks widely, conducts seminars, and coaches individuals to increased personal effectiveness, based on her lessons learned about confidence, power and charisma during 30+ years of highly-successful experience in corporate positions up to senior vice president/director of employee relations and learning at UBS Financial Services and independently with clients such as Booz Allen Hamilton, Pfizer, Thermo Fisher, Sony, Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, Allianz Global Investors, UCSD Health, and the RAND Corporation. She also speaks widely for forums and associations throughout the U.S.
Ms. Burnham earned a BA in Creative Studies from University of California, Santa Barbara, and an MBA in Marketing from UCLA. She is also a Laughter Yoga teacher and professional singer. She lives in the mountains east of San Diego, and has a personal mission to help others become more confident, powerful and aware, while remaining true to who they are at their best, most authentic core.
Eric Spencer, COO for SkyeTeam, is a proven leader with more than twenty years building and shaping Human Resources organizations. His experience ranges from human resources, executive and leadership development, and organizational effectiveness to talent acquisition, performance management, M&A, and integrations work. He has designed, developed, and delivered human resources and leadership development programs of varying complexity—from simple coaching courses to complete concepts—for organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies.
Prior to joining SkyeTeam, Eric served in leadership capacities at P3 Group, Local Matters, Level 3 Communications, and Target Corporation. His experience with organizations of varying sizes and business lifecycle stages has provided him with a rich set of human resources and training and development experiences.
As an executive coach and vice president for talent development with CCI Consulting, Adena Johnston brings over 25 years of corporate and consulting experience as a recognized leader, coach, mentor, and developer of top talent. Adena operates a robust organizational consulting and executive coaching practice that serves executive clients in healthcare, higher education, manufacturing, business services and finance. In her corporate career, she served as the regional leader and president of a corporate university where she had full P&L responsibility, led the strategic plan, and interfaced across the enterprise. Adena has been involved in start-ups and turn-arounds, championed employee engagement and change initiatives, and is known for her cultural competency and thinking in systems.
Adena holds her Doctorate in Management with a focus on strategic leadership and organizational complexity. In addition to a MS in Organizational Dynamics she also holds a Master’s degree in Sociology, is an active member of the Association for Corporate Executive Coaches (ACEC), and its MEECO Leadership Institute, International Coach Federation (ICF) of Philadelphia and the Organizational Development Network (ODN). She serves as adjunct faculty in the disciplines of sociology, workplace culture, leadership, and organizational development, and volunteers her time mentoring first generation college students.
