With every aspect of our work life thrust online, organizations are struggling to keep participants engaged during live training sessions. In many cases, the rapid shift to virtual instructor-led learning meant that opportunities for collaboration and networking between learners—key characteristics of in-person learning—were left behind. In this session, you’ll learn how to humanize live virtual training sessions and how to cultivate community with your participants. During the past year and a half, we’ve learned that virtual classroom experiences can be as or more effective than traditional training. To thrive in the virtual working environment, employees require new capabilities and therefore new training that will have to be provided virtually. You’ll review how to prepare your trainers to successfully support their participants in online training. With continued social distancing measures, companies will need the proper tools to support their employees as they work and train from home. You’ll review what kinds of tools are necessary for your company to create not just effective virtual training, but training that feels human. Lastly, this session will cover how to sustain these tools and techniques in ways that fit into your employee’s workflow.
