Audrey Erker
Audrey Erker

Corporate Trainer, Nelnet

Audrey Erker is a corporate trainer on the organization development team at Nelnet. In her role, she not only creates and delivers training programs but also plays a key role in building a culture of L&D.

Erker is one of the founding co-chairs for Nelnet’s Young Associates Community, where she creates connection and development opportunities for young professionals. Recognized as one of TD magazine’s Up & Coming professionals, Erker has made a lasting impact with her work coaching, training, facilitating, and onboarding in just four short years in the L&D field.

Erker’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln; she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in management with a focus on organizational leadership and change.

Nycci Jones
Nycci Jones

Director, Corporate Training & OD, Director of DEI, Nelnet, Inc.

Nycci Jones is the director of learning and diversity for Nelnet. In this role, Jones is responsible for leading diversity, equity, and inclusion to advance the organization’s cultural competence. She also leads Nelnet’s talent management and organization development strategy.

Under her leadership, Nelnet has been recognized by Forbes for the Best Diversity Workplace for the past two years and won the Lincoln Young Professional Award Diversity and Inclusive Workplace Award. In addition, Jones’s efforts have achieved an ATD BEST Award, an ATD Excellence in Practice Award, and the 2022 Unsung Hero Award. Jones also serves on the Aurora Chamber of Commerce as a board member.

Building on more than 27 years of experience in the L&D community, Jones’s expertise spans across a wide range of DEI programming and initiatives as well as talent management and organization development. As a champion for diversity at all levels, Jones focuses on creating a safe, equitable work environment that promotes trust, fairness, and transparency.

She holds a Cornell University certification in diversity and inclusion, Master Trainer® designation, instructional design certification, and a coaching certification through the ATD.
