Shortly after obtaining his Electrical Journeyman’s License, Phillip launched his Learning & Development endeavor in 2002 by taking a part time position at the South Texas Electrical JATC apprenticeship school where he taught for seven years. In 2010, Phillip accepted an offer to be a full-time trainer for Rosendin where he designed and delivered training relevant to the roles of Project Managers, Superintendents, and Field Supervisors.
Phillip now leads Rosendin’s Learning & Development department which includes training managers, instructional designers, corporate trainers, and field trainers. He also oversees the V.A.M.P.I.R.E. (Video And Media Production In Rosendin Electric) Crew. The V.A.M.P.I.R.E. Crew creates online training videos, company update videos, and interactive training systems. While Phillip enjoys being in front of people presenting leadership training classes, he also gets a great degree of satisfaction in helping to build training programs such as Rosendin’s SURGE (APM Development) Program, Emerging Leaders, and the P.O.W.E.R. Program.
