MAPFRE HR Assistant Deputy General Manager – Training & Development Elvira Arango is currently MAPFRE’S (HR Training and Development Director), as well as General Manager of MAPFRE’s Training Center. In 1999, she started working for MAPFRE as Head of the International Management Training Center. In 2002 she takes on a new responsibility as Managing Director of FUNDACION MAPFRE and since January 2005, Elvira is in charge of Recruitment, Training and Development in MAPFRE’s Corporate Services and Human Resources’ General Management. Previously, she worked as Consultant, Analyst and Project Manager focused on Training and Human Resources, working for multinational companies in different industries, such as Financial, Pharmaceutical, Services, Chemical, Government, etc. Elvira holds a Law Degree, and has coursed an International MBA at the Antonio de Nebrija University in Madrid, and at the Extension School of Harvard University. She is married and has 3 children.

En 1999 comenzó a trabajar en MAPFRE como Jefe del Centro Internacional de Formacion en Gestión. En 2002, asume nueva responsabilidad como Directora General de Fundación MAPFRE y desde 2005 Elvira es responsible de Selección, Reclutamiento, Formación y Desarrollo en la Direccion General de Servicios Corporativos y RRHH del grupo. Previamente, trabajó como consultora, analista y Project Manager enfocada en Formacion y RRHH trabajando para diferentes multinacionales en diversas industrias: finaciera, farmaceutica, servicios, quimica, sector public. Elvira es licenciada en Derecho, posee un MBA Internacional por la Universidad Antonio Nebrija en Madrid y ha hecho cursos del extension de la Universidad de Harvard. Esta casada y tiene 3 hijos.
 

Margarita is founder and main consultant of Excellens, a Mexican Training and Organizational Performance consulting firm, based in Mexico City. She has been a performance consultant and trainer for more than twenty years in the areas of organizational development, change management, leadership, fund raising, communication, strategic planning, team building, improving performance, learning, emotions management, and customer relations.

Margarita holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Tec de Monterrey and Midwestern State University and she is pursuing the doctorate in Education by Competencies. She is professor at Universidad Mundo Nuevo in the master programs of Human Resources and Education. She has presented in several international conferences and virtual summits.

She is former President of AMECAP Chihuahua (Mexican Association for Training and Development in Chihuahua State) and was the first President of ASTD Global Network Mexico. She is Director for MOT in Mexico, Vice-president of International Relations for AMECAP and she supports ASTD in Mexico.

Margarita es fundadora y directora general de Excellens, Asesoría y Capacitación Organizacional, basada en la ciudad de México, con más de 25 años de experiencia como generadora de cambios positivos en organizaciones diversas, es reconocida por sus logros relacionados con el incremento en los resultados empresariales y en el apoyo para la institucionalización de organizaciones de la sociedad civil. Ponente con reconocimiento a nivel internacional, ha participado en distintos foros presenciales y a distancia.

Posee un Master en Administración de Empresas por el Tec de Monterrey y la Midwestern State University; y actualmente esta cursando un Doctorado en Educación por Competencias. Es professor universitario en la Universiad Mundo Nuevo en el programa de Master en RRHH y Educación.

Actualmente es Directora de MOT en México, Vicepresidente de Relaciones Internacionales de AMECAP (Asociación Mexicana de Capacitación de Personal y Empresarial, AC) y apoya a la ASTD en diversas actividades en México
