In the fall of 2013, ASTD and Claude Legrand, managing partner of Ideaction, Inc., conducted an extensive survey on how the Learning and Development community (L&D) sees its role in the creation of innovative organizations. L&D has a critical role to play because innovating organizations do not have more effective processes or more creative individuals. Instead, they have leaders, managers, and individual contributors who are trained to innovate systematically.

This webcast will discuss the results of the survey and what organizations need to do to become more innovative. The presenters will provide a primer on how to create successful innovation programs, suggest options you can consider to help your organization become more innovative, and share real-world case studies and best practices.

As a result of this webcast, you will learn:

  • how organizations measure key drivers of innovation
  • which innovation programs business partners request
  • which innovation programs organizations offer
  • how the study results apply to real-world work and best practices.
