Marcia is a global leadership and talent executive who brings deep knowledge of learning and development, a strategic business and people perspective, and direct operating experience. These perspectives inform all of her work, ensuring talent priorities and leadership capabilities directly accelerate business growth. Marcia started her career as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company, where she focused on helping organizations realize their business goals through organizational change and leadership development. In 2003, Marcia became McKinsey’s global chief learning officer. In this role, Marcia was responsible for building one of the most lauded leadership development programs in the world. Marcia then founded Doable in 2020 to develop a scalable solution for fast-growth tech companies. Finding a like-minded partner, Marcia became cofounder and chief product officer at Allspring in early 2023, leveraging generative-AI to provide personal coaching and situation-specific simulations for sales team members to more quickly achieve their goals.
Marcia has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Virginia. She is also certified in the Hogan and Leadership Circle assessments and is an ICF-accredited executive coach. Marcia lives in Atlanta with her two about-to-leave-the-nest teenagers and an aussiedoodle who, thankfully, will not be flying the coop.
