Based on a survey of organizations around the world, this webcast explores how talent development practices differ across Asia-Pacific; Europe, the Middle East, and Africa; Latin America; and North America.

This webcast, which shares findings taken from ATD’s research report 2019 Global Trends in Talent Development, provides benchmarking data by region and organization size on key metrics such as talent development budgets and learning hours used. Additionally, the webcast identifies differences among regions in learning delivery methods, top content areas, use of learning technologies, and top challenges. After attending this webcast, attendees will have a better understanding of talent development challenges and trends around the world.

Shauna Robinson
Shauna Robinson

Research Analyst, ATD

Shauna Robinson is a research analyst at the Association for Talent Development (ATD), where she prepares surveys, analyzes data, and writes research reports and short case studies. Her previous positions at ATD include human capital specialist and communities of practice coordinator.

Prior to working for ATD, Shauna was a senior editorial assistant at Wiley in San Francisco, California. Shauna received a bachelor’s degree in English from UC Berkeley, and she is currently attending the University of Connecticut remotely to obtain a master's degree in survey research. 


Nelson Santiago
Nelson Santiago

Facilitator, ATD Education

Nelson R. Santiago is a talent and leadership development leader with more than 20 years of experience working with all organizational levels creating, promoting, and delivering training solutions designed to enhance organizations’ business and strategic plans. Nelson is passionate about creating an interactive and authentic learning environment that supports development and employee engagement. Currently, Nelson is an internal ATD Faciliator. Prior to this role, Nelson served at several government agencies, including North Carolina Municipalities, the U.S. Coast Guard, the State of North Carolina Human Resources, and the Abu Dhabi government. Nelson has worked with multiple organizations in over 35 countries; designing and delivering programs in leadership and management development, team building, compliance, communications, customer service, change management, performance management, and many other topics. His work has always been focused on meeting the strategic needs of the organization. Nelson’s outstanding strengths include leadership, communication, facilitation, coaching, and emotional intelligence. Nelson currently holds certifications as ATD Master Trainer, DDI Certified Facilitator, and Gallup’s Certified Strengths Coach.
