ATD will release an updated State of Sales Training research report. This report will offer a refresh of previous research on creating and managing sales training, delivering sales training, sales training expenditures, and sales kickoffs. New to the 2023 report will be a section focusing on virtual sales techniques. The report will conclude with recommendations to help organizations improve their sales training programs.

Rocki Basel, Ph.D. joined the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in 2022 as the Associate Director of Research. Prior to joining ATD, she was a researcher for other national membership organizations. Her research interests include workplace culture, employee engagement, mental health, and organizational communication. She has a Ph.D. in communication studies from Kent State University.
