Jim Bell is chief marketing officer at Torch, responsible for all aspects of Torch’s marketing function. Prior to Torch, Jim led marketing and business development as CMO at Glint and led global marketing and alliances as chief marketing officer at Jaspersoft. Under Jim’s leadership, the Jaspersoft team won the prestigious SiriusDecisions ROI award in 2014 for excellence in sales and marketing integration. He holds a BS degree in business administration from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.


Joshua Bersin

Josh Bersin is a global research analyst, public speaker, and advisor of corporate human resources, talent management, recruiting, leadership, technology, and the intersection between work and life. In 2001, Josh founded Bersin & Associates, known as the leading research and advisory company in corporate HR. In 2012, he was acquired by Deloitte and became Bersin by Deloitte. In mid-2018, he retired from Deloitte and started the Josh Bersin Academy, the world’s home for HR.

Josh and his team of experts offer research, advisory services, the Global HR Capability Project, and the Josh Bersin Academy, the only end-to-end professional development platform dedicated to HR leaders and their teams.


Nehal Nangia
Nehal Nangia

Senior Manager for Research, The Josh Bersin Company

Nehal Nangia is the Senior Manager for Research at the Josh Bersin Company. In this role, Nehal drives empirical research on key workforce related topics, and the development of actionable insights, tools and powerful stories for today’s talent executives. Nehal brings in 15 years of professional experience in human capital, with a focus on talent management, performance management, L&D, employment value proposition, workforce transformation, and DEI.

In her previous roles, Nehal led deployments of benchmarking and diagnostic products at Gartner for EMEA, APAC and ANZ based clients. More recently, Nehal was the lead global advisor for clients at Deloitte, where she also published several studies on pertinent topics like DEI, performance management, and bias. Nehal lives and works in India and has a master’s degree in psychology.
